NLP and Rational Recovery: An Empowering Alternative for Working with Addiction

In this session, Larry will offer a blend of models and strategies for working with addictions and other inner conflicts.  Since 1985, Rational Recovery has offered an alternative model for recovery for those who wanted something different than was offered by 12-Step programs.  Rational Recovery and the Addictive Voice Recognition Technique (AVRT)^® have many features that are consistent with NLP and when used together, offer an effective and empowering strategy for working with addictions.  Larry will also offer a structural metaphor for using the process of identification and “perspective taking” that can eventually transcend the notion of “parts” and inner conflict to achieve a state of integration, congruence, and inner peace.

Larry Dillenbeck is a Certified Health and Master Practitioner of NLP.  He has been an NLP and Hypnotherapy Trainer for Anchor Point Institute and other organizations since 1995.  Larry is also recent graduate of Coach University and offers training, personal and professional coaching, hypnotherapy, and NLP for individuals and organizations across the country.  He also has an extensive background in martial arts and energy work including Reiki, Shinkiko, Twei Na, and Shamanic healing practices.
