Dear NLP friends –

IT’S ALMOST TIME FOR THE 2008 BIENNIAL IASH CONFERENCE!

We are just a month away from the conference.  The all-volunteer committee has been working very hard to bring you an event of extraordinary quality and value.

PLEASE AVOID LAST-MINUTE REGISTRATION

If you have not yet registered for the conference and for your selection of pre-conference and post-conference seminars, it’s time!

The rates for those who register in person at the conference will be significantly higher.

Please register at least a week before the conference start date.

Last-minute registration has a financial impact on the conference.  We're forced to charge higher registration rates for those who register in person.

Please help us and yourself by going to the registration page and completing your registration now.  Thank you!

THE NLP SHOPPING MALL AT IASH

You can sell your products at the IASH conference.  There is still time to sign up for a spot at the NLP Mall, for a modest registration fee.  Contact Kimi Avary at nlpmall@nlpiash.org for the details. You can also reserve your space in the Mall by visiting the registration page.

NLP BASICS FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY

Are you bringing your spouse?  Significant other?  Teenager?  Mother-in-law? This is a great opportunity to introduce them to NLP at the preconference seminar called “Test Drive NLP.”

We are so happy to have your friends and family attend this program that after they complete the program we’ll refund their tuition!  Really.

PROGRAM AT A GLANCE

As you know, there will be as many as five or six programs running simultaneously during parts of the conference.  You won’t have time to attend them all.  So we suggest you take a look NOW at the “program at a glance” and start planning your personal route through these incredible three days of NLP. (Click on any presentation title to see details.)

YOU AND THE FUTURE OF IASH

Service on the executive board

At the annual meeting of IASH on Sunday morning, we will be electing officers for the Board. If you are interested in volunteering to serve a two year term on the Executive Board of IASH, please send an email to board@nlpiash.org by August 20.

Volunteering

The 2008 conference is being organized by a small number of very hard-working people, as we have told you many times.  Your help is needed to continue IASH into the future.  At the conference there will be opportunities to volunteer – a chance to contribute to the future of NLP and to strengthen your personal connection with other outstanding NLPers.

NLP IN THE WORLD TODAY

A featured event at the conference will be a panel discussion on the state of NLP today.  Panelists will be Robert Dilts, Suzi Smith, Tim Hallbom, Steve Andreas and Judith de Lozier.  The moderator will be Charles Faulkner.

Do you have a question for the panel?  You are invited to send your question in advance to panel@nlpiash.org.  All questions will be forwarded to Charles.

RECORDINGS FROM THE CONFERENCE

IASH is very pleased to have partnered with NLP Comprehensive to enable you to purchase the complete set of recordings from this conference.  These are professional-quality recordings of every presentation and event (we don’t plan to record the disco party!)

Watch for a separate announcement about great discounts for advance orders.

PLEASE NOTE IASH POLICY ON CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS

As posted on the web site:

For anyone who needs to change conference attendance plans, registration cancellations are possible through August 20; a $75 cancellation fee will be charged.

ARTICLES ON THE WEB SITE

We remind you to look at the interesting articles on the web site. IASH welcomes submissions of articles, but please note:  we will not be posting any more article submissions until after the conference is over and the post-conference administrative matters have been completed.  If you have an article to share with IASH, please send it to us at editor@nlpiash.org.
