Special Menus at the IASH Conference


Friday Evening, September 29th

In order to allow plenty of time for dining and for everyone to return for the presentation by Dee Kinder and Dr. Frank Bourke on The State of IASH Today and The NLP Research and Recognition Project, we have made arrangements for dining in the Chutney Grill Restaurant in the hotel.

This will save you the added time it would take to walk to another restaurant in the area, wait for seating, service, and so on, which could mean that you would miss important details about the future of IASH and possible NLP research projects.

Please visit the registration page – before September 20 – select 'change' at the bottom of the page and add your choice of entree. The restaurant will be ready to serve  you  after the end of presentations on Friday.

This includes a 3 course dinner of  salad, entree and dessert and coffee or tea. Price: $19.45 plus tip.  Entree choices are:

  • Roast Beef
  • Filet of Petrale Sole
  • Pan grilled Chicken Breast
  • Capellini Pomodoro (vegetarian)


Saturday Luncheon, September 30th

The yearly IASH business meeting will be held during lunch on Saturday. (Everyone who is registered at the conference is a member of IASH) Important decisions will be made at this meeting regarding the nature of research to be accomplished and the future direction of IASH.

Since this meeting is during the lunch break, you may wish to order a box lunch provided by the hotel. Please visit the registration page – before September 20 – select 'change' at the botom of the page and add your choice of salad or box lunch. Your lunch will be ready for you at the meeting room. The menu choices are:

Salad Menu:

  • Classic Caesar Salad ($9.00) – Crisp romaine hearts, foccacia croutons, Parmesan cheese
  • Chicken Caesar Salad ($11.00 ) – Clasic Ceasar plus grilled skinless chicken breast both tossed with Caesar dressing.
  • Greens & Chicken Breast ($11.00) – Field greens, tossed with vinqigrette, grilled chicken breast, chopped bacon, diced apples, crumbled bleu cheese and candied walnuts.
  • Classic Cobb Salad ($12.00) – Fresh California field greens with a rainbow of diced tomatoes, chopped bacon, bleu cheese, sliced egg, avacado, and grilled chicken breast served with bleu chees dressing.

Box Lunches:

Box lunches include choice of sandwich plus fruit, chips, cookie and a bottle of water...

Sunday Luncheon, October 1st

The hotel has requested that we give them entree choices prior to September 20 for the Sunday Luncheon and Shelle Rose Charvet's closing keynote address. We are asking that you please visit the registration page – before September 20 – select 'change' at the bottom of the page, and let us know your entree choice for the IASH Luncheon. (Free of charge for conference attendees.)

  • Asian Chicken Salad
    Seared Spicy Chicken Breast with sesame seeds served on a bed of crispy wontons, Napa cabbage, carrot threads, & field greens with soy rice wine vinagrette dressing.
  • The Great Trio ~ Vegetarian
    Grilled Vegeatables, marinated in aged balsamic and virgin olive oil, German potato salad, & fussili pasta salad with vine ripened tomatoes, cucumbers, all on top of California field greens.
  • Grilled Steak Salad
    Chopped romaine lettuce, endive, tomatoes, gorgonzola, cheese, & grilled flank steak served with red wine viniagrette.
