Hans Polak Talking NLP to Physicians Compose a compelling NLP-training for medical doctors
Doctors are taught to diagnose physical symptoms of their patients telling them what’s best for them! As more and more medics in Europe are becoming more aware of the importance of the mental aspect of healing, it’s becoming clear that additional training is required. Two years of research and various pilot trainings resulted in a very successful concept as shown by the evaluation (a score of 8.4 on a scale of 1-10) of medical participants. The crucial point in training doctors in NLP is how to make rapport with them. Changing the title of the training into “Coaching for doctors” was a first key. Additional translation of NLP terminology into “medical language” and giving practical applications for their consulting hours was the second key. Providing a sound and consistent structure of coaching, call it a protocol, was the third. Prescribed beliefs, required capabilities and specific techniques for special treatment are essential parts of this protocol. Doctors were and are getting fabulous results with their patients. Not in the least by the change of their own model of the world! This workshop will show you how we can build a training to be more successful in the western medical world. It will give you a format to build a 5 day NLP based training for doctors without having them fully go through the practitioners and master–practitioners course. You will have the opportunity to tap into the experience of the designer/trainer of this very successful concept and discuss the various practical applications.
