Healing the Corporate Soul

Ever worked in a company that has no soul? It’s like the night of the living dead—gray bodies moving slowly through cold caverns of florescent light. Many managers doubt that this has any bearing on corporate success. If history is any guide, however, over half of all Fortune 500 companies will age and expire over the next few decades. Without soul and purpose, companies atrophy, decay, and die.

According to Business Week, "72% of Americans say business has TOO MUCH POWER over too many aspects of American life" and "only 47% think that what’s good for business is good for most Americans." Sixty–nine percent said they had "only some" confidence in those [people] running big business. Only 31% said companies treat all of their employees well, while 21% said "poor." And finally, 95% said U.S. corporations should have a purpose beyond profit for shareholders; they also owe something to their workers and communities they serve.

For the last decade, Jay Arthur, the Corporate Shaman, has been using NLP and the power of shamanism to heal the corporate soul. Join Jay to explore how to heal large living systems.

Jay Arthur works with companies that want to close the gap between where they are and where they want to be, and people who want to master the mysteries of the mind. He’s a master practitioner and health practitioner of NLP – Neuro Linguistic Programming as well as an Inca shaman. Finding that he could scale individual therapeutic practices to work with corporate teams, Jay began the study of shamanism. He reasoned that if you could use psychotherapeutic tools with the corporate mind, it should be possible to use shamanic methods to heal the corporate soul. Because of his background in software, process, mind, and spirituality Jan may be the only corporate shaman that understands and can help you pinpoint areas for improvement in Corporate Mind and Spirit. He is the author of The Motivation Profile and How to Motivate Everyone
